Meet Cristelle Lawrie, Business Centre Manager at Inigo Edinburgh where she looks after 2 buildings in Rutland Square in the heart of Edinburgh’s financial district. She’s a busy lady but she recently found time for a chat to share an insight into her world.

About Cristelle:

“I am married to Jonathan and have 2 teenage children and 1 adult child (how did that happen!)  I like to socialise with friends and family and I am a part-time spray tannest and also enjoy walks with my dog Luna.”

What’s your main focus in your role as Centre Manager?

The customer – making sure they are looked after and assisting them with anything they need and also watching their business growth within our Centre.

Who is your ideal customer?

Our ideal customer would be someone who grows with our business centre.

What do you consider to be your biggest work achievement?

Knowing how to deal with different people and their businesses

What’s your biggest work gripe?

Changing the bins

What inspires you at work?

Make sure my Centres are full and my clients are happy.

What is your work philosophy?

Don’t stop when you are tired, stop when you are done!

Who’s your Sporting Hero?

My sporting hero would have to be Doddie Weir a Scottish rugby legend. In 2016 he was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.

He became involved with campaigning and fundraising, setting up a foundation named “My Name’5 Doddie” which had raised £8 million for MND.

What’s your top tip for success?

Always try to improve yourself in work and in life.
